Microblading is a semi permanent tattoo, where small micro fine lines of ink are added to your natural brows to provide you with outstanding looking eyebrows, this includes giving them great shape, density and fullness. They will last around 2-3 years, and will look completely natural. What's more you can sleep, swim, perspire, cry, wash and touch your face and all the normal things we do in life, without the need to pencil in your brows on a daily basis.

Step by Step Microblading Treatment Process
Step 1 You will need to a have a complimentary consultation to make sure a Microblading treatment is a good fit for you (after all it's a semi permanent tattoo). The consultation will last about 15-30 mins, and it's an opportunity for you to ask questions and speak with the therapist about any concerns you may have and the eyebrows you would like to have. At the end of the consultation, if you wish to proceed with a treatment, a skin patch test will be carried out and a 3 hour appointment scheduled in the diary. At this point a £100 deposit will be required to confirm your booking. A consultation can take place Monday - Saturday, between the hours of 09:30am - 8pm.
Step 2 The treatment will commence with one of our professionally qualified consultants taking your face measurements. Our therapist has over 10 years experience with this treatment. BEWARE of cheap alternatives who have little to no experience, whom also use low cost pigments that do not last.
The area where the treatment will take place will be drawn onto your skin so that you can physically see the shape we are aiming to achieve for you. Once you have approved the shape we will begin your treatment.
The treatment itself is very similar to a tattoo, so numbing gel can be used to ensure minimum discomfort.
Throughout your treatment you will be consulted, and at any point if your feel uncomfortable or concerned, you can stop/pause the procedure.
Step 3 Following your treatment a follow up health check appointment and/or top up treatment may be required. Your therapist will be able to advise you when that treatment will be. This is determined by your age and medical history.

Frequently Asked Questions
I have seen Microblading cheaper elsewhere, how are you different?
There are two very important reasons why we charge the price we do. Firstly, our therapist has been providing Microblading for over 10 years. Unlike many therapists, we do not have a one style fits all approach. Just look at our gallery, everyone is different and they all have finished eyebrows that match their faces and shape. Only a therapist with vast experience can achieve this.
Secondly, we use the best German ink pigments on the market that are designed to last - these are not cheap to buy. There are many cheaper pigments on the market, these will fade very quickly and eventually the tattoo will turn orange. They also may contain Nickel, which can be very bad for the skin. The last thing you will want on your face is an adverse reaction to a poor quality ink.
Will I need a skin test before the procedure?
Yes. At Designing Faces we make sure that you are happy and safe through every step of your treatment process with us. We will undertake a useful skin test during the FREE consultation.
Does Microblading Hurt?
We want you to be as comfortable as is possible throughout your procedure and are happy to offer you a numbing gel which can ease any discomfort you might feel. Most of our clients choose not to use anything but you can let us know your preference at your initial consultation.
How long does Microblading Permanent Makeup Last?
Microblading will last 18+months. There are some factors that will determine its longevity, which we will discuss with you during the initial consultation. It is also important to follow our advice after the procedure.
Microblading can be maintained, so if you like your brows a top up (colour refresh) procedures can be carried out to maintain its appearance.
Can I have a top up treatment?
We carry out top up treatments for existing clients only. If you return to the clinic within 18 months of your initial treatment, you will pay a much reduced rate of just £150. 18 months+ and the fee will be £200.
We can only offer this treatment to existing clients only because we know their treatment history, patch test results and the brand of pigment used.
Can I bring a child with me to the appointment?
Our insurance does NOT permit us to have children on the premises. Please do not bring any children with you as this will result in having to reschedule your appointment.
Can I have Microblading if I am Pregnant?
No. The main concern with getting a tattoo during pregnancy is the risk of contracting an infection, such as Hepatitis B and HIV. Although we use disposable needles and the risk is very small, it is recommended that you wait to get a tattoo until after your baby is born.
Can I have the FREE consultation and treatment on the same day?
No. As part of the consultation we will undertake a skin test and check for any adverse reaction to ink pigments. We need to allow 48 hours between sessions.
Will I get a follow up health check?
Yes, all clients can receive a FREE follow up consultation to ensure that your recuperation and healing is on course.
Are the procedures safe?
Absolutely! All our products comply with RESAP 2008. We only source our pigments from Germany, never from China. They are ORGANIC, VEGAN FRIENDLY and HEAVY METAL FREE.
