Microstroking does not require your entire eyebrow to be shaved and does not damage your natural hair. To keep discomfort to a minimum, aesthetic creams are used before and during the procedure. The entire process takes only 2 hours and there is no down time. A touch up is required once 1-3 months after initial procedure. Pigment retention depends on skin type, age, aftercare, sun exposure, use of certain skin products, pigments used, immune system, medications and other factors. Touch ups are recommended once a year to prevent natural fading.

I have seen 3D Eyebrow Feathering cheaper elsewhere, how are you different?
There are two very important reasons why we charge the price we do. Firstly, our therapist has been providing eyebrow tattoo treatments for over 10 years. Unlike many therapists, we do not have a one eyebrow style fits all approach. Just look at our gallery, everyone is different and they all have finished eyebrows that match their faces and shape. Only a therapist with vast experience can achieve this.
Secondly, we use the best German ink pigments on the market, that are designed to last - these are not cheap to buy. There are many cheaper pigments on the market, most originate from China, and they will face very quickly. They also may contain Nickel, which can be very bad for the skin. The last thing you will want on your face is an adverse reaction to a poor quality ink.
Will I need a skin test before the procedure?
Yes. At Designing Faces we make sure that you are happy and safe through every step of your treatment process with us. We will undertake a useful skin test during the consultation.
How long does Microblading Permanent Makeup Last?
Microblading will last between 2 and 4 years. There are some factors that will determine its longevity, which we will discuss with you during the initial consultation. It is also important to follow our advice after the procedure.
Will I need a top up treatment?
Not everyone will require a top up treatment. This will depend on how well the pigment has taken to your skin.
Can I bring a child with me to the appointment?
Our insurance does NOT permit us to have children on the premises. Please do not bring any children with you as this will result in having to reschedule your appointment.
Can I have an Eyebrow Tattoo if I am Pregnant?
No. The main concern with getting a tattoo during pregnancy is the risk of contracting an infection, such as Hepatitis B and HIV. Although we use disposable needles and the risk is very small, it is recommended that you wait to get a tattoo until after your baby is born.

Pre Treatment Advice
Do not work out the day of the procedure.
Do not tan or have sunburned face.
No alcohol or caffeine 2 days before the procedure.
No waxing or tinting 3 days before the procedure.
Please note that you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.
Electrolysis no less than five days before. Do not resume any method of hair removal for at least two weeks.
Permanent makeup is NOT recommended for any clients who have the following below:
Pregnant or nursing
Chemotherapy (consult your doctor)
Viral infections and/or diseases
Epilepsy
Pacemaker or major heart problems
Organ transplant
Skin irritations or Psoriasis near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.)
Post Treatment Advice
NO water, cleansers, creams, makeup or any other products on treated area for 10 days.
DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off. Picking can cause scarring.
Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 3-4 weeks after procedure.
Avoid heavy sweating for the first 10 days.
NO facials, injections, chemical treatments and microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.
Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days.
Long term care
Use a good sunscreen, sun exposure will fade your permanent cosmetics.
If you are planning a chemical peel, laser procedure or an MRI scan, please inform the technician of your permanent cosmetics.
The use of rapid skin exfoliation products used regularly on the forehead area will cause the permanent makeup to the eyebrow area to fade prematurely.
The use of chemical peels and acid peels regularly on the forehead region can also cause eyebrow tattoos to fade prematurely.
